Terms of Service

By creating an account or using simpleidgen.com and its API (the "Service", operated by Rexstart Labs Pvt Ltd, "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. By registering, you confirm this and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The Service
SimpleIDGen generates synthetic ("fake") person-profile data for testing, development, and similar lawful uses. It is provided free of charge and "as is"; we may change, limit, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
3. Your account
Keep your password and sign-in codes confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. One account per person.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- exceed or attempt to circumvent the free-tier limit (5,000 rows/day), rate limits, or the bot check;
- use automated means to create multiple accounts or otherwise abuse the Service;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, defraud, or harm others;
- present the generated synthetic data as real personal information, or use it to impersonate, deceive, or fabricate the identity of any real person;
- resell, sublicense, or commercialise the Service itself;
- probe, attack, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
5. Synthetic data; no accuracy warranty
All generated records are fictitious and statistically produced. Although distributions are calibrated against public reference data, we make no warranty that any record or value is accurate, realistic, or fit for any particular purpose. Generated data must not be used as, or to create, real identity documents or credentials.
6. The data you generate
You may use data you generate through the Service for any lawful purpose, subject to these Terms. The Service — including its software, design, and content — remains our property; nothing here grants you rights in it beyond use of the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. As the Service is free, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us (which is zero) or the minimum permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or abuse the Service. Generated data and logs are removed on our normal 7-day schedule.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will change, and continued use means you accept the update.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
